Palm Harbor student named to Flagler President’s List
ST. AUGUSTINE — Autumn Harmon of Palm Harbor has been named to the President’s List at Flagler College for her academic excellence.
To qualify for this award, Harmon had to earn at least a 4.0 GPA with at least 12 semester hours of graded credit.
Tarpon Springs seeks applicants for city boards
The city of Tarpon Springs is seeking resident volunteers to serve on various city advisory boards. The following boards and committees are particularly in need of applicants:

• Heritage Preservation Board
• Library Board
• Marine Commerce Committee
• Public Art Committee
• Sustainability Committee

Mirabella named to dean’s list at The Citadel
CHARLESTON, S.C. — Nikolas Mirabella of Palm Harbor has been named to the dean’s list at The Citadel.
The dean's list is a recognition given to cadets and students who are registered for 12 or more semester hours and whose grade point average is 3.20 or higher, with no grade of I (Incomplete) and no grade below C for work in a semester.
Cadets who are named to the dean's list receive a medal, which is worn on their uniform during the semester following their academic achievement. Non-cadet students on the dean's list are presented a certificate.
Palm Harbor student named to LMU dean’s list
HARROGATE, Tenn. — Emma Ware of Palm Harbor was named to the Lincoln Memorial University Dean's List for the fall semester of 2025. Ware is seeking a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
To be placed on the Dean's List, the student must be a full-time undergraduate and have a 3.5 or higher grade-point-average for the semester. Over 750 students were recognized for high academic achievement.
Martin named to UWA President's List
LIVINGSTON, Ala. — Kimberly Martin of Tarpon Springs has been named to the University of West Alabama's fall 2025 President's List for superior academic achievement.
The President's List recognizes undergraduate students with grade-point averages of 3.80 or higher, completing at least 12 semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a "C."
Martin is majoring in Creative Arts Enterprise.
Library seeks nominations for outstanding women
PALM HARBOR — The Palm Harbor Library is seeking nominations of women who have had a positive impact on the community as part of a celebration of Women’s History Month.
The deadline is Saturday, Feb. 28, and nominators are asked to write 100 words or less about the nominee. Award recipients will be honored with a special ceremony at the library and a contribution to the charity of their choice. This year’s event sponsor is local resident and PHL volunteer Anne Burson.
