LAND O’ LAKES — Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano broke ground Jan. 24, 2025 on the agency's sixth full-service office, a location at 12118 N. Sunlake Blvd. designed to serve the fast-growing northwest corner of the county.

The office, called Angeline on the Suncoast, will join existing locations in New Port Richey, Gulf Harbors, Land O' Lakes, Wesley Chapel and Dade City. A completion date has not been announced.

The site targets an area adding hundreds of homes in the Angeline and Shady Hills Road corridors along State Road 52, as well as apartment complexes built along U.S. 41/Land O' Lakes Boulevard and Ridge Road.

"We look forward to the day when we can invite people back for the grand opening and begin serving Pasco residents and other customers," Fasano said at the groundbreaking.

Fasano, a Republican, was appointed tax collector in August 2013 by then-Gov. Rick Scott and has been reelected since. He previously served in the Florida House and Senate from 1994 to 2013.

Separately, Fasano's office announced it has selected the Pace Center for Girls of Pasco as its charity of the month for April. The program allows residents to make donations during tax office visits or online through Pasco TC Gives, the agency's charitable arm.

Pace Pasco offers academic instruction and mental health support for middle and high school girls at no cost.

"This wonderful organization helps middle and high school-age girls receive the academic and emotional support they need but may not receive in a traditional educational setting," Fasano said in a press release. "Please consider assisting the students enrolled at the Pace Center for Girls, Pasco by donating when you renew your auto tag. Every dollar helps change the life of a young lady who needs some extra help to succeed."
