Meet Gage (A005238), a silly, playful, and oh so charming 4-year-old. This handsome boy has an amazing spirit and absolutely loves his people. Gage is always up for a good game of fetch, and when the Florida heat kicks in, you’ll likely find him happily cooling off in a kiddie pool. He also enjoys leisurely strolls. Gage can sit politely and take treats with the sweetest manners. He’s also a smart cookie who enjoys a good challenge, especially when it comes to treat puzzles that keep his mind busy. One of Gage’s favorite activities is visiting the toy box. Searching for the perfect toy is practically his life’s mission, and watching him dig through them with excitement is pure entertainment. Meet Hazel (A004831), a cuddly 6-year-old loving girl who recently got to spend some time with a foster family. From the moment she arrived, Hazel was immediately friendly and affectionate. She’s calm, gentle, and adaptable, but still playful and curious when the mood strikes. Hazel proved she’s the total package – fully housebroken, comfortable and relaxed in a crate, and did well when left alone. She slept peacefully in her crate but also loved stretching out in bed and getting cozy with her humans. She knows basic commands like sit and stay, and walks nicely on leash most of the time. Hazel enjoys tug-of-war rope toys, outdoor walks, and simply spending time with her people. Car rides? No problem. She hopped right into her crate and traveled calmly like a pro. Hazel does best with calm, polite dogs. Slow introductions would set her up for success. She showed a strong interest in chasing cats, so a cat-free home would be best.
