BROOKSVILLE — The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said May 27 that deputies cited a motorcyclist for doing a wheelie in traffic on Broad Street.
The rider was stopped and issued a $1,163 citation.
Reckless driving behaviors such as wheelies, excessive speeding and stunt riding on public roadways put everyone at risk and will not be tolerated, the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
