HERNANDO COUNTY – A Brooksville woman died of injuries she sustained in a vehicle accident, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
On June 1 at 12:20 p.m., a Honda CRV driven by a 74-year-old Brooksville woman was traveling north on Lockhart Road.
A Ford F250, driven by a 35-year-old Spring Hill man, was traveling east on State Road 50. At the intersection of the two roadways, the CRV entered the path of and was struck by the F250.
Transported to an area hospital, the woman later expired from injuries suffered during the crash.
The F250’s driver suffered minor injuries and was not transported.
