A tearful tribute
I just read your “Love letters to Mom” column and have tears in my eyes. What a lovely tribute to your mom! It’s a real throwback to a simpler and sweeter era. You made your parents “come alive” — and brought back memories of the stories of my parents and their early courtship days. It was my first Mother’s Day without my mom, too, and my dad passed away 28 years ago.
