Manatee County Commissioner George Kruse rappels down the side of the Palmetto Marriott Resort and Spa, 600 U.S. 41, in a fundraiser for the Salvation Army of Manatee County. The Christian organization, which provides adults and children with food and safe shelter, sent local officials 104 feet “Over The Edge” on May 23.
