The second annual Parrish Park Summerfest will be on Sunday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free, family-friendly event will feature arts and crafts, inflatable bounce houses, waterslides and more fun activities for children. Summerfest is also a great opportunity to meet the local business community, as the park will be filled with local vendors. Also on tap are music, free raffles, local food trucks selling food and beverages and an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the summer at the park, 7550 Fort Hamer Road. Vendor booths are free for Parrish Area Business Alliance members, but space is limited.
