Daisy (A045483) is still in her puppy era. She’s just over a year old and has sweet puppy girl energy. Daisy is experiencing kennel stress — it’s difficult to be young and energetic at a shelter with limited time playing outdoors. Our team has worked on socializing Daisy in play groups, but she has a way to go. Daisy is also a “project pet” — shelter volunteers have been giving her extra enrichment and a training schedule. Daisy is learning to walk well on a leash, she is learning manners when her kennel is approached, and it is doing wonders for her. Rocky (A046477) is a 7-year-old gray and white pittie who was brought to PCAS in April after his owner was found deceased. Rocky’s sudden life changes left him feeling insecure and a little nervous, but he remains a good boy who is experiencing kennel stress. Rocky is social with other dogs, and he participates in play group at the shelter, where his play style is rough and rowdy.[ Photo SUBMITTED ]
