A 22-year-old Bradenton man has died after his car collided with another vehicle on I-75 early July 10, according to Florida Highway Patrol

FHP says the man was driving his 2025 Hyundai Kona north on I-75, approaching mile marker 215, when he struck the rear of a vehicle that was directly in front of him.

The man’s car traveled off the roadway, entered the grass shoulder and struck with a tree.

He was pronounced deceased on scene, FHP says.

The two women in the other vehicle, a 24-year-old from Bradenton and a 22-year-old from Parrish, suffered minor injuries.

FHP says the crash remains under investigation.
