Families in need of food assistance can visit the following locations to receive food, free of charge, on Friday, July 17, and Friday, July 24:
• Turner Chapel, 317 11th St. Drive W., Palmetto from noon-1 p.m.
• Lincoln Park, 501 17th St. E., Palmetto from 1:15-2:15 p.m.
• Manatee Mobile Home Park, 2204 Manatee Ave. E., Bradenton from noon-1 p.m.
• Pride Park, 6032 Ninth St. E., Bradenton from 1:15-2:15 p.m.
The Food Bank of Manatee’s Food4Families program is the community’s largest hunger-relief organization, helping ensure that children and their families have enough to eat when school is out and access to school meals is unavailable.
