Anyone interested in adopting or fostering any of this week’s featured pets can make an appointment to meet them at the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center by calling 813-301-7387, emailing petinfo@HCFLGov.net or visiting HCFLGov.net/PRCkennel.
Meet Rocky, a 4-year-old who has been at the shelter since January. Rocky is house broken and crate trained, social on the lash, and a next-level fetch superstar. Rocky seeks out attention, loves meeting new friends, and will proudly drop a ball at your feet. He’d do best in a home with mature kids and no cats. But give him a yard, some toys, and someone willing to throw a ball, and he’s in heaven. Rocky’s ID at the shelter is A2354740.[ Photo SUBMITTED ]
Meet Chloe, a sweet 8‑year‑old bundle of gentle joy. Chloe is the kind of dog who instantly makes a house feel like a home. During her time in foster care, she showed excellent house manners — she was respectful, non‑destructive, and even politely pawed at the door when she needed to go outside. She’s wonderfully social with adults, greeting new people with a happy tail and soft eyes. Around other dogs, she’s been friendly and appropriate in playgroups. She takes her treats gently, knows “sit,” and is easy to leash for strolls around the yard. Chloe’s ID at the shelter is A2505997.[ Photo SUBMITTED ]
Meet Gojo, a handsome 2-year-old who has been at the Pet Resource Center for over 100 days after arriving as a stray back in mid‑March. Gojo is full of personality — wiggly, playful, and silly. He’s social with other dogs and plays with a lot of enthusiasm. He loves toys, treats, and people. He’s learning and trying. This bouncy boy checks in with his people constantly, walks beautifully when given the chance, sits politely for treats, and leans in for pets once he settles down. He’s a high‑energy sweetheart with a big heart. Gojo’s ID at the shelter is A2512369.[ Photo SUBMITTED ]
