BROOKSVILLE — The Hernando County School District has named Celisse Dipaolo principal of Spring Hill Elementary School and Jodi Sloan an assistant principal at Springstead High School.
Dipaolo succeeds Cari O’Rourke, who announced her retirement earlier this month. Dipaolo has worked throughout the district and has more than 18 years of teaching and administrative experience.
“I am incredibly excited and honored to be selected as the new principal of Spring Hill Elementary,” Dipaolo said. “I look forward to leading the Panther family to continued learning, growth and student success.”
Sloan moves to Springstead from her post as assistant director of Safe Schools for the district. She has spent more than 10 years with the district as an educator and administrator.
“We are confident these leaders will do an excellent job in their new positions as they strive to build on their schools’ strengths and inspire continued growth for our students, staff and community,” Superintendent Ray Pinder said.
