Sign up for city newsletter, win hurricane prep kit

LARGO — With recent storm seasons bringing more frequent and unpredictable weather to the Tampa Bay area —including heavy rain, localized flooding, and storm surge — the city of Largo is encouraging residents to stay informed and take steps now to prepare.

Residents are encouraged to subscribe to LargoToday, a weekly email featuring timely updates from the city manager on city services, programs, and storm preparedness. As a thank you, new subscribers will be entered to win a hurricane supply kit. Each kit includes a solar-powered emergency hand-crank radio, a waterproof document bag, and first-aid supplies.

To enter, complete the sign-up form (https://tinyurl.com/3uy7ssyz) to opt in to city of Largo emails. The deadline to enter is Aug 14. Three winners will be randomly selected and notified the week of Aug 17 with instructions for hurricane kit pickup.
