HERNANDO COUNTY -- The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is advising residents to exercise caution regarding recent mailings sent under the name “Hernando County Citizens Patrol.”
The agency is currently investigating reports of unauthorized correspondence being sent to local addresses using the name “Hernando County Citizens Patrol” and the District II return address (7499 Forest Oaks Blvd.).
These mailings are not affiliated with or authorized by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office. If you receive mail from this entity, do not engage or respond.
