Meet Althea, a sweet, goofy girl who arrived at the Pet Resource Center as a stray in January and has been winning over volunteers ever since. Althea loves her people, believes belly rubs are a universal love language, and never says no to a squeaky toy. She is selective with her dog buddies so would do best in a home where she can be your one-and-only pup or meet dog friends at her own pace. Outside the kennel she’s much more relaxed, playful, and affectionate — she just wants to feel safe and loved. Meet Zero, who arrived at the shelter in late June and is now searching for a new forever family to love. He’s an adolescent pup with a gentle heart, a curious mind, and a whole lot of potential wrapped up in a sweet, wiggly package. He’s still learning that leashes aren’t scary and new people can be trusted, and in the kennel he sometimes shows high FAS (fear, anxiety, stress). But once outside, Zero’s tail starts wagging, his body softens, and he leans right into affection. — Meet Zero, who arrived at the shelter in late June and is now searching for a new forever family to love.
