A number of new movies and limited television series will debut this week, including the following titles opening in theaters or premiering via video on demand on various streaming platforms:
‘One Night Only’

Academy Award nominee Monica Barbaro and BAFTA nominee Callum Turner star as Allie and Owen, two love-starved strangers who crash into each other in an ever-so-slightly fictionalized New York City on the one night of the year when single people are allowed to have sex.
Recently dumped Owen and hopeful romantic Allie might be the only two singles in the city looking for more than just a quick encounter. They both feel a spark when they meet, but a series of missteps and side quests complicate their night, keeping them apart. As they each race toward and away from each other across the city, they just might discover that the one thing they want most is closer than they think.
The film is scheduled to be released by Universal Pictures on Aug. 7.
‘Super Troopers 3’

Everyone’s favorite cops are back with the third installment of the cult comedy classic from the Broken Lizard crew: “Super Troopers 3.”
When Farva’s (Kevin Heffernan) wildly over-the-top Indian engagement to Sarita (Hannah Simone) sends Thorny’s (Jay Chandrasekhar) sister spiraling into chaos, the Super Troopers must navigate Thorny’s schemes to break up the relationship while trying to crack a pernicious new drug ring — all to save the day and maybe the wedding itself.
The film is scheduled to be released by Searchlight Pictures on Aug. 7.
‘The Last House’

‘Tony’

‘Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma’

‘Late Fame’

‘Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence’
