The cause of a fire Friday, Aug. 14, that destroyed a manufactured home and killed the three cats inside is under investigation, according to Largo Fire Rescue.
At about 9:45 a.m., Largo Fire Rescue units responded to the structure fire in the 13000 block of Robin Lane, which is a block west of Seminole Boulevard and near the Largo mall.
When they arrived, crews found the home engulfed, but quickly brought the fire under control, according to Largo Fire Rescue.
No residents or firefighters were injured, but three cats were found deceased inside the home.
The fire remains under investigation, officials said.
