By Tampa Bay Beacons

Sandy Holloway was presented with a proclamation declaring Aug. 11 as “Sandy Holloway Day” by the City of Seminole during its regular meeting. Holloway is a longtime resident of Seminole, and has worked tirelessly to promote the city through a variety of causes, including the Seminole Junior Woman’s Club, the Bluegrass Festival, an annual garden tour at her home, Holloway Haven, and as a founding member of the Seminole Historical Society. Holloway, at left, was presented with the proclamation by Mayor Leslie Waters, as members of the Seminole City Council look on.
