Partnership to connect job seekers with training, funding
St. Petersburg College has partnered with CareerSource Tampa Bay to help residents facing financial challenges discover affordable education, workforce training and financial assistance that can lead to stable, high-wage careers.
Through the partnership, CareerSource Tampa Bay will educate eligible residents in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties about SPC’s academic and short-term workforce training programs while helping them understand the financial assistance available to enroll.
The partnership highlights programs that address critical workforce needs across the Tampa Bay region, including nursing and allied health, semiconductor manufacturing, lineworker training, advanced manufacturing, information technology, public safety and skilled trades.
CareerSource Tampa Bay staff will work directly with eligible participants to identify available funding opportunities, assess career goals, and provide guidance throughout the enrollment process. SPC will collaborate closely with CareerSource to ensure prospective students receive the information and support they need to begin their educational journey successfully.
