Mersiv: MorFlow Fest

Headlined by Mersiv and featuring a carefully curated lineup of bass music heavyweights, MorFlow Fest is designed as more than a concert: It’s a full-spectrum cultural experience rooted in movement, intention, and community.
The lineup includes UK bass icon Caspa, grassroots favorites Wreckno x Super Future, and a rising class of electronic talent including Seth David b2b Zen Selekta, FloZone, and RJ WLKR. The full-day event will begin at 3 pm, with onsite vendors and immersive activations throughout the venue.
MorFlow Fest reflects the ethos that has defined MorFlo Records since its inception: a space where creativity, healing, and sound converge. The festival format expands on that philosophy, offering attendees an environment to engage not only with the music, but with the flow arts culture deeply intertwined with the bass music community.
For Mersiv, the festival represents a natural extension of the world he’s built. As both an artist and label head, he has cultivated a community centered on presence, energy, and connection — MorFlow Fest is that community brought to life.
The event is intentionally designed to create both physical and sonic space for flow arts, movement, and immersive experience. Whether attending for the music, the flow, or both, the day is built around full participation and presence.
Mersiv, born Anderson Benoit Gallegos, has been a formidable force in electronic music since 2015, introducing audiences to his distinctive “Pretty Dark Loud” sound. His project is dedicated to offering listeners immersive auditory experiences that blend deep emotion with dynamic energy, inviting them into the present moment.
As the head of MorFlo Records, Mersiv supports artists resonating with the essence of flow, fostering a community where creativity flourishes. Snow Strippers are an American EDM band consisting of Tatiana Schwaninger and Graham Perez, who initially met in Clearwater. Since their 2021 debut single, “Keep Holding On,” Snow Strippers have become one of electronic music’s most vital acts, releasing a prolific amount of music, first under their own imprint Nice Bass Bro and most recently in conjunction with New York City record label Surf Gang. The Mavericks will honor their beloved leader Raul Malo with a return to the stage for “The Music Lives On Tour,” featuring lead vocals from acclaimed artists James Otto and Emily West. The tour follows The Mavericks’ two-night tribute at The Ryman last December, where Otto and West were among several standout performances honoring the band’s decades-long history and the lasting impact of their fearless leader.

An irreplaceable talent, Malo’s spirited performances garnered a massive and loyal following, and his powerful songwriting and musicianship earned multiple Grammy, ACM, and CMA awards. Over a career of more than three decades, he created the kind of multicultural American music reaching far beyond America itself. After he was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2024, Malo continued to tour with The Mavericks for the next year and spoke about his journey on NPR’s Weekend Edition. He passed away in December 2025 while surrounded by his friends and family.

Montaner is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters in the Spanish-speaking world. Awards and recognitions have confirmed the brilliance of his career, and Montaner has, among hundreds of awards, dozens of multiplatinum, platinum and gold albums for his multi-million albums sold; he also has the top awards from the Viña del Mar Festival in Chile, as well as the Silver Torch, the Golden Torch and the Gaviota.
In November of 2016, he received the Latin Grammy for Musical Excellence during a ceremony in Las Vegas. In November of 2021, he won a Latin Grammy for Best Tropical Song of the Year. In January 2022, Montaner received another Premio Lo.

Led by conductor Evan Roider, this concert invites the community to come together to honor the enduring resilience of the American spirit. The program features iconic music of remembrance and reflection, such as Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man, Barber’s poignant Adagio for Strings, and John Williams’ Summon the Heroes. Liberty for All, with narration by Nate Jacobs, founder and artistic director of the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, will also be featured. Soprano Amy Owens melds her electrifying voice with Sarasota Orchestra’s sound in stirring performances of “Amazing Grace” and “America the Beautiful.”
Proceeds from this special evening will benefit four local charities: Resilient Retreat, Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Charitable Foundation, Sarasota Firefighters Benevolent Fund, and Sarasota Police Foundation.
