Few bands in the history of rock and roll have ever incited the love, the hate, the raw emotional effect this band has had on the world. From the very beginning, in the small venues of Los Angeles, California, and later throughout numerous countries worldwide that banned W.A.S.P. from performing live, the band’s unique style of shock and rock caused religious organizations, local city councils, parliaments, and the U.S. Senate to hold hearings in an effort to bar this group from selling records and trashing stages everywhere they played.
The band’s founding member, frontman Blackie Lawless, has led the group as its lead vocalist and primary songwriter since its beginning. You can’t keep a heavy metal legend down ... Although it’s been over a dozen years since guitarist and songwriter K.K. Downing departed Judas Priest, the iconic band he co-founded and played with for 40 years, he was never really going to retire. It was only a matter of time before he reclaimed the spotlight. Downing has had metal coursing through his veins from the beginning, starting in the Midlands region of England where Judas Priest was born. He compellingly chronicled his life odyssey in his 2018 autobiography, and his recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame further secures his legacy as a pioneering musician, songwriter and guitarist.
As a founding member of the classic Judas Priest line-up, Downing helped lay the foundation for the heavy metal genre as a whole. According to the venue, Elevation Rhythm is the youth expression of Elevation Church based in Charlotte, North Carolina. They have been making music for the next generation to sing, dance, and worship to. They released their first album, “Growing Pains,” in 2022, followed by “This Is the Gospel” in 2023. That album featured the original version of “Praises.”
In 2024, they hit No. 1 at Christian radio with “Praises (remix)” featuring Forrest Frank, and dropped two more singles — “Goodbye Yesterday” with Gracie Binion and “At the Altar” with Tiffany Hudson and Abbie Gamboa.
Their album “Victory Lap” was released in May 2025. This album was followed by their latest singles “Washed” and “Thank God I’m Free,” which have continued to impact the next generation.

According to his official website, Kinnebrew began writing songs as a teenager because he was “mesmerized by the way a song could reach out and grab you by the heart — or the throat,” and his love for language burns through each of his songs, whether he’s writing about everyday affairs like taking his kids to school and vacationing at the beach, or more vulnerable subjects like his struggles with anxiety and alcohol. The Browning is an American electronicore band formed in Kansas City, Missouri, known for blending metalcore with electronic music and dubstep elements. The band was founded by Jonny McBee and has released several albums including “Burn This World” and “Hypernova.”

WITCH — We Intend To Cause Havoc — are the legendary pioneers of Zamrock, the explosive fusion of psych rock, funk, and traditional Zambian rhythms that defined Zambia’s 1970s musical renaissance. Formed in the country’s post-independence cultural boom, WITCH quickly became Zambia’s most popular band, led by magnetic frontman Emmanuel “Jagari” Chanda, whose electrifying presence drew comparisons to Jagger himself.
As Zambia’s economy declined in the late 1970s — and with curfews, the rise of disco, and DJs reshaping nightlife — WITCH, like many Zamrock groups, were pushed into daytime shows and gradually slipped from the spotlight. Jagari stepped away to become a teacher, while the band continued under the leadership of Patrick Mwondela, pivoting from rock into disco to meet the demands of the market. Later, with guitarist Chris Mbewe at the helm, WITCH evolved once more, embracing Kalindula and producing enduring hits such as “Janet” and “Nazingwa.”
Decades later, a global resurgence of interest in Zamrock led to the reissue of WITCH’s catalogue and renewed international attention. In 2012, Jagari was invited to perform in the United States, sparking the band’s rebirth. By 2013, he had reunited with longtime bandmate Patrick Mwondela, joining forces with a new international lineup featuring musicians from Zambia, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.
