BELLEAIR — The Belleair Garden Club will host two September events celebrating gardening, creativity and community at its historic clubhouse, located at 903 Ponce de Leon Blvd. in Belleair.
Fall Into Gardening Plant Swap & Potluck
Sept. 12, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Garden enthusiasts of all experience levels are invited to bring plants, cuttings or seeds to exchange, along with a favorite dish to share. This free, informal gathering is a fun opportunity to discover something new for the garden, exchange gardening ideas and enjoy an afternoon with others in the community. Registration is not required. The event is free and open to all. Donations in support of the Belleair Garden Club’s programs and community projects are gratefully accepted.
Petals & Paint: Botanical Greeting Cards Workshop
Sept. 25, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Guests will create two beautiful botanical greeting cards using watercolor and pressed flowers, with step-by-step instruction from Belleair Garden Club member and artist Pamela Hull. All materials, supplies and instruction are included, along with light bites and refreshments. Guests may also bring their own pressed flowers to add an especially personal touch to their creations.
Workshop registration is $25 per person. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.

Thorn Collection sets charity lemonade stand for pediatric cancer
BELLEAIR BLUFFS — The Thorn Collection will continue one of its most cherished community traditions with the 13th Annual Thorn Collection Charity Lemonade Stand, taking place Thursday, Oct. 8, from 4-6 p.m. at 598 Indian Rocks Road N, Belleair Bluffs.
Over the years, this community-driven event has raised more than $362,000 for pediatric cancer, bringing neighbors, local businesses, friends and families together for an afternoon centered on generosity, hope and making a difference.
“Every cup of lemonade represents a step closer to helping children and families fighting cancer,” said Martha Thorn, leader of The Thorn Collection. “We are incredibly grateful for the way our community continues to show up year after year. This event is about so much more than lemonade — it’s about coming together to give children and families hope.”
100% of proceeds benefit the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
