Dunedin Hemp Company named Times ‘Best of the Best’ Gold

DUNEDIN — Dunedin Hemp Company has been named a Gold winner for Best CBD/Hemp Shop and a Silver winner for Best Kava Bar in the Tampa Bay Times’ “Best of the Best” awards.

The Dunedin-based small business was founded by Seth Taylor in 2019 with a simple vision: to create an inviting cafe and retail space where everyone feels welcome.

Our customers have supported us through a tremendous amount of change, and their loyalty is the reason we continue to grow and evolve.”

Safety Harbor Chamber launches ‘Passport Challenge’

The Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce wants people to explore local businesses during the Safety Harbor Passport Challenge, taking place throughout the month of September.

The free, month-long challenge, presented by Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park & Funeral Home, encourages participants to visit participating businesses throughout Safety Harbor, check in digitally, and earn points along the way. Participants can keep an eye on the online leaderboard throughout the month as they compete for great prizes.

The Passport Challenge is completely digital. Participants earn points by checking in at local businesses, with bonuses for meeting, shopping, or dining along the way. Visits to sponsor locations offer additional opportunities to boost their totals.

The highest-scoring participants will take home grand prizes, while random participants will also be selected for surprise pop-up prizes throughout September.

“This is a fun way to get people out exploring businesses they may not have visited before while encouraging everyone to shop, dine and support local,” said Cammie Lumpkin, president and CEO of the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce. “We’re excited to have businesses throughout Safety Harbor participating and hope the community will make a game of it.”

The Passport Challenge runs Sept. 1–30. Participation is free, and anyone can join.

Visit tinyurl.com/SafetyHarborPassport to get a digital passport, see participating businesses and start earning points.
