Waypoint RV Preserve breaks ground
PALMETTO — South Swell Properties has broken ground on Waypoint RV Preserve, a 170-site, nature-inspired RV resort destination at 11010 U.S. Hwy. 41 N.
Waypoint is designed to bring guests closer to nature while providing the comfort, hospitality and amenities of a modern RV resort in a 25-acre nature preserve with a 3,706-square-foot pool with zero-entry access, lap lanes and a sun shelf and an 85-square-foot spa.
Waypoint Bar & Grill, open since 2021, continues to serve the surrounding community.
The resort is expected to open in winter 2027.
DNL Upholstery opens
PALMETTO — DNL Upholstery, 710 Fifth Ave. W., is open under new management, continuing the Rosier family’s 57 years of serving the Palmetto area at the same location and same level of craftsmanship and integrity. The full-service shop offers all types of upholstery, including furniture, marine, residential, commercial, auto and RV. Dedicated to keeping the art of fine upholstery alive, the shop has an active apprentice program to assure the next generation learns and appreciates our artistry of fine upholstery.
