ST. PETE BEACH — The St. Pete Beach Public Library has a full slate of programs on tap for the week of Sept. 21, from tech help and story time to an inclusive art hour and two movie screenings.

• Monday, Sept. 21, 11 a.m.-noon — Tech Help, walk-in: Get help with technology basics for phones, computers and library-related applications. Monday sessions are walk-in only.
• Monday, Sept. 21, 3 p.m. — Tea at Three and a Movie: Tea and light refreshments are served during the film.
• Tuesdays, 10 a.m. — Story Time: Stories, songs and movement for children 5 and younger and their caregivers, designed to build early literacy skills and support motor development.
• Tuesday, Sept. 22, 4 p.m. — Play With Clay: Children 3 and older make masterpieces out of modeling clay.
• Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1-4 p.m. — Open Mahjong: Bring friends and play. No instruction is provided.
• Thursday, Sept. 24, 10-11 a.m. — Inclusive Art Hour With Creative Clay: Make art alongside teaching and member artists from Creative Clay, which provides expressive, educational and vocational arts experiences for people with disabilities. All materials are provided, and there is no right or wrong way to create.
• Friday, Sept. 25, noon — Feature Film: Popcorn and a movie. Details are at spblibrary.com.
• Saturday, Sept. 26, 2-3 p.m. — Tech Help, by appointment: Get help with technology basics for phones, computers and library-related applications. No repairs. Sign up for a 30-minute appointment at calendly.com/stpbeachlibrary/30min or call 727-363-9238. Because the session falls after regular library hours, all other library services will be unavailable during that time.
Sun Drunk to mark anniversary with 3-day party
ST. PETE BEACH — Sun Drunk, the beach lifestyle boutique at 409 Corey Ave., will mark its first anniversary with a free, three-day party open to the public Friday, Sept. 18, through Sunday, Sept. 20.
Owner Cat Lepetit opened the store Sept. 19, 2025, moving the business out of farmers markets and festivals and into a permanent Corey Avenue storefront while St. Pete Beach was still rebuilding from hurricanes Helene and Milton.
“A year ago we opened while half the beach was still gutting drywall,” Lepetit said. “The people who walked through that door anyway are the reason we’re still here. This weekend is for them.”
Activities are scheduled hourly throughout the weekend.
