Indian Rocks Beach will soon join the rest of Pinellas County’s beach communities in charging visitors to park at the city’s roughly 180 beach access parking spots after the City Commission unanimously approved a six-month pilot program through the ParkMobile app. The program, expected to be implemented in the next two to three months, will feature enforcement from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily, and fines for violators rise from $75 to $100. Residents are exempt via special parking decals.
