This jumbo gag grouper was one of several caught and released on a recent trip with Capt. Cody Albright. He worked limestone bottom in 10 to 12 feet of water just off the coast, bagging several on live sardines and driving plugs. He suspects the cooler Gulf water is what fired up the bite.
