Capt. George Hastick has been finding his redfish along mangroves near the top of the incoming tides from Weedon Island south along the Pinellas side of the bay. Live sardines or pinfish have been taking fish like this one, with up to 10 fish landed on trips.

Capt. George Hastick has been doing well with mangrove snapper in the bay, with fish up to 16 inches being landed on his charters. Limits have been easy work when fished around submerged rocks in 8 to 10 feet of water. Docks also hold them, though the size is smaller on average.
